Content repurposing is the conversion of one source piece of material into several formats for different channels. It solves the problem most common to smaller teams – a lot of content is needed and capacity is limited. A proven approach is to choose one more demanding format as the base, typically an hour-long interview, a webinar, or a detailed article, and derive the rest from it: the transcript becomes an article, strong passages become short videos, individual ideas become posts, questions expand a Q&A section, and the whole thing is summarised into a newsletter. What matters is adaptation, not copying – the same text does not work in every channel. Plan the derived formats in advance, at the time of recording, which saves the most time. A side benefit is consistency: when every format comes from a single source, the company speaks the same way across channels and does not contradict itself.
