Product description

A product description is the text on a product page. Most e-shops take it over from the supplier, which creates identical content on dozens of websites and leaves nothing to set you apart. The solution is not to rewrite thousands of descriptions, but to add what the supplier does not supply: who the product suits and who it does not, what it is compatible with, what needs to be purchased additionally, how it is maintained, how it differs from a cheaper and a more expensive alternative, and answers to the questions that reach customer support. These are exactly the pieces of information a customer looks for when deciding, and exactly what assistants also use when comparing. Start with the products with the highest margin and the largest number of enquiries, not alphabetically. Keep parameters in structured fields, not written into the text.
