The Funding and Tenders Portal is the European Commission's central hub for programmes managed directly at European level, that is, outside national operational programmes. Calls for programmes such as Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, LIFE and Erasmus are published here, complete with full documentation, evaluation criteria and templates. The application itself is also submitted here, usually in English and as a consortium of partners from several countries. The portal also contains a partner search database, which is the most practical entry point for a Slovak company – joining a consortium already being assembled tends to be more feasible than leading one. Organisation registration is done once, and a unique identifier is assigned that is used across all subsequent projects.
