GEO reporting for clients

GEO reporting is the reporting of visibility in generative search engines. It runs up against the fact that familiar metrics such as position and keyword count do not exist here, and the client still needs to see progress. A usable report has four parts. The first is the share of answers in which the brand is mentioned, measured on a fixed set of questions. The second is the quality of the mention, that is, its position, tone, and whether a link is included. The third is a comparison with competitors on the same set. The fourth is traffic and conversions from the AI tools channel. Add examples of specific answers, because they tell the client more than numbers do. And explain variability – answers differ even without any intervention, so it is the trend that is assessed, not an individual measurement.
