EDIH is a European Digital Innovation Hub, that is, a consortium of organisations that helps companies and the public sector adopt digital technologies, including artificial intelligence. It is funded by a combination of European and national resources, thanks to which it provides part of its services free of charge or on preferential terms, usually under a minor aid scheme. The offering tends to be practical: an assessment of a company's digital maturity, advice on choosing technology, the option to test a solution before investing, staff training, help finding funding and the facilitation of contacts with partners. For a small company that does not know where to start with AI, it is a cheaper first step than commissioning commercial consultancy. The scope of services and focus differ between individual hubs, so compare those in your region and sector.
