An Annual Implementation Report is a document in which the managing authority assesses the programme's progress over the past period – the drawdown status by priority, fulfilment of measurable indicators, the results of calls, identified problems, and planned measures. It is approved by the monitoring committee and submitted to the European Commission. For applicants it is an underused source of information that is publicly available: it shows which measures are lagging and are likely to repeat their call, what the success rates were in individual rounds, and where the allocation is being spent fastest. Consulting firms routinely draw on these reports when estimating a client's chances. It is worth checking them once a year, ideally together with the minutes of the monitoring committee, which supplement them with upcoming changes.
