A GEO audit is an assessment of how visible a company is in the answers given by generative search engines, and what stands in the way. It has three parts. The first is measuring the current state: a set of real customer questions is put to several models, and it is recorded whether you are mentioned, in what context, and alongside which competitors. The second is the technical layer – whether robots have access to the content, whether key information loads without a script, what the robots.txt settings are, and whether structured data and consistent company information exist. The third is the content layer, that is, whether there are passages that directly answer the questions asked. The output is not a list of recommendations but a list of specific missing answers and technical obstacles, ranked by impact.
