AI Audit

An AI Audit, also called an AI readiness assessment, is a structured analysis of a company that identifies the processes with the highest potential for deploying artificial intelligence and assesses the organisation's readiness to introduce it. The audit typically proceeds in several steps: mapping processes and the time demands of individual teams' activities through interviews and questionnaires, assessing data maturity – where the data resides, in what quality, and whether it is accessible via API, evaluating tools, security rules and compliance with GDPR and the AI Act, and finally quantifying opportunities by savings, implementation costs and risk. The output is a prioritised roadmap of use cases with an estimated return, a recommended architecture and a plan for pilots, usually supplemented with quick wins deployable within a few weeks. A quality audit protects a company from the most common AI project mistake – deploying technology without a clear business problem – and creates a basis for management's decision on AI investment.
