A B2B e-shop is a sales channel intended for corporate customers, which differs from a consumer one in several fundamental ways. Prices tend to be individual, based on contract or volume, and are shown only after login, often excluding tax. Ordering must support fast entry by code, repeating previous orders, multiple users within a single company, and approval of the order by a superior. Payment is usually made by invoice with a due date, which requires monitoring the customer's credit limit. A different legal regime applies than for consumers, since the provisions on withdrawal within fourteen days do not apply to businesses. The benefit lies in relieving sales staff of routine orders. It is therefore worth starting the rollout with customers who place the most frequent repeat orders, where the time saving is most visible.
