Employee AI Training is a systematic educational programme that builds AI literacy across the organisation – from basic understanding of the technology, through safe use of tools, to advanced skills for specialists. It is not just a competitive advantage: the European AI Act, since February 2025, requires that both providers and users of AI systems ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among their employees. An effective programme is built by role: all employees complete the basics of working with AI, rules for protecting company and personal data, and recognising hallucinations; teams with intensive use gain advanced training in prompt engineering and specific tools; and management is trained in AI strategy, risk management and evaluating benefits. A combination works well: introductory workshops, e-learning, internal AI champions and regular clinic hours to solve real tasks. Impact is measured by the share of active users, time saved and the quality of outputs, not the number of hours completed.
