Naming

Naming is the process of creating a name for a company, product or service. The creative part tends to be the easier one; verification is what decides it. Before deciding, check five things. Whether the name is free in the commercial register and does not collide with a registered trademark in the relevant classes. Whether the domain is available in the form you want, along with social media accounts. How the name is pronounced and written down after being heard, since a name that people cannot google will cost money forever. Whether it does not have an undesirable meaning in the languages of the markets you are targeting. And whether it is sufficiently distinguishable from competitors, so that neither models nor search engines confuse you with them. Avoid generic phrases from the field – they describe the category, not you, and cannot be protected.
