AI call analysis transcribes phone conversations into text and then extracts information from them – most often customer objections, reasons for refusal, adherence to the sales process, sentiment and recurring topics. For sales teams, this replaces spot-checking of recordings, and for support it shows where misunderstandings arise. The benefit is that insights stop depending on a manager's impression and instead rest on the entire volume of calls. Deployment, however, has clear conditions: recording requires informing both parties and a legal basis under data protection regulations, transcripts are sensitive content, and who has access to them and for how long they are retained must be defined. Automated evaluation of employees, in turn, requires human review.
