The Slovakia Programme 2021–2027 is the single operational programme through which Slovakia draws on funds from the EU's cohesion policy in the current programming period. It replaced six separate operational programmes from 2014–2020 and combines support from the ERDF, ESF+, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund, with a total allocation of almost EUR 13 billion. The programme is divided into five main objectives: a more competitive and smarter Slovakia, a greener Slovakia, a more connected Slovakia, a more social and inclusive Slovakia, and a Slovakia closer to its citizens. The managing authority is the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatisation of the Slovak Republic (MIRRI). Calls are published on an ongoing basis and applications are submitted electronically via the ITMS21 system. For applicants, it is essential to monitor the schedule of calls and to prepare the project in line with the conditions of the specific call.
