Slovensko.sk is the central public administration portal through which electronic filings are submitted and official decisions are delivered. Legal entities registered in the Commercial Register have an electronic mailbox activated for delivery by operation of law, which means that authorities' decisions reach them electronically rather than by post. A fundamental rule is that once the storage period expires, a message is deemed delivered even if no one has read it – this is how deadlines for appeals, supplementing applications, or making payments get missed. Access requires an ID card with a chip and a reader, or alternatively a mobile app. Companies would do well to set up authorisation for more than one person and set up email alerts, so that delivery doesn't depend on a single individual.
