The public part of the ITMS information system is the environment in which applicants and recipients work with projects financed from European Union funds. It is used to submit the application for a non-repayable financial contribution, to file monitoring reports and payment requests, and to communicate with the managing authority. Access requires registration of the entity and the user, assignment of permissions to specific people, and usually also an electronic signature, so it is worth arranging in advance, not on the day of the deadline. The system also contains publicly available data on approved projects, which is a useful resource when preparing your own application – it shows which projects succeeded in a given call and with what amounts. Working in the system tends to be lengthy, so allow extra time.
