Differences between AI models are significant from the point of view of visibility, even though on the surface they all appear similar. They differ in whether and how they access the web in real time, which search index they use, how often and in what form they cite sources, what length of answer they prefer, and how much they rely on learned knowledge as opposed to retrieved documents. The consequence is that the same question produces three different answers, with a different set of companies mentioned, from three different assistants. It is not worth optimising separately for each model, nor can it be done reliably – the basis is shared: accessible content, unambiguous passages, and data that is consistent across sources. Measure across several models, though, otherwise you will end up with a distorted picture of your visibility based on a single tool.
