A video series is a recurring format with the same structure, length and visual treatment, released on a regular rhythm. Compared with one-off videos it has three advantages: the viewer knows what to expect and comes back, production is faster because new decisions don't have to be made every time, and individual episodes reference each other, which grows viewership across the whole archive. Proven formats for companies are answers to customer questions, a breakdown of a single case from practice, a round-up of news in the field, or short demonstrations of a procedure. Before launching, it pays to have at least three episodes already filmed so the series doesn't end after the first one, and to set a realistic frequency – one episode a month sustained for a year beats ten episodes in two months followed by silence.
