Grants for employee training support raising the qualifications of people in companies, most often in digital, technical and language skills. They are among the most accessible forms of support, because the amounts tend to be lower and the administration simpler than for investment projects. The sources vary: programmes financed from European social funds, national projects implemented by agencies and labour offices, instruments tied to the individual, and state-aid schemes for training. A condition is usually that the training goes beyond routine induction for a job position and relates to the company's development. Documentation tends to be the weak point – curricula, attendance sheets, certificates of completion and proof that the training actually took place to the declared extent. Prepare them in advance, not retrospectively.
