Grants for robotisation support the acquisition of industrial and collaborative robots, automated lines, handling equipment and machine vision systems. For Slovak manufacturing companies, this is a response to labour shortages and to customer demands for stable quality. Support is provided mainly through calls focused on innovation and modernisation of production, where the assessment covers the contribution to productivity and the novelty of the solution for the enterprise. In addition to the equipment itself, the budget must also include workplace adaptation, integration into the production system and operator training, which companies often overlook. Preparation must also allow for a workplace safety assessment and for long delivery times, which will affect the project schedule. It is proven practice to start with a single workstation, verify the benefit, and plan expansion only on the basis of actual figures from operation.
