Schedule of calls

A schedule of calls is a document in which the provider publishes the planned launch of calls for the coming period, including the expected date, focus, group of eligible applicants and indicative allocation. It is usually published at the start of the year and updated on an ongoing basis, with the stated dates being indicative and subject to change. Even so, it is the most useful planning tool that companies and municipalities fail to use – it allows project documentation, permits and the budget to be prepared before the call opens, avoiding being left under time pressure with a short deadline for submission. It is worth monitoring the schedules of all relevant providers, not just one, since they are published separately. It is useful to keep your own overview of relevant calls with dates and a note of what needs to be ready, so that preparation does not begin only after the call is launched. For construction projects, this kind of lead time is essential.
