Follow-up monitoring report

A follow-up monitoring report is a report that the recipient submits after the project's implementation has ended, during the sustainability period. Its purpose is to demonstrate that the project's results continue to exist and serve their declared purpose – that the equipment is being used, operations continue, the jobs created persist, and the achieved indicator values have been maintained. It is generally submitted once a year, within a deadline set by the contract, even when nothing has changed. It typically includes confirmation of ownership and use of the assets, proof of operation, and updated indicator values. Failure to submit the report, or a finding that the results have ceased to exist, leads to a proportional or full repayment of the contribution. So write the reporting deadlines into your calendar right after the project ends, since they are easily forgotten after several years.
