Green for Households is a national project of the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA) that reimburses households for part of the cost of installing small equipment for using renewable energy sources. Support is provided in the form of a voucher, which the household hands over to the installer, who then applies it as a discount on the price of the work – the recipient thus does not pay the full amount upfront and does not wait for a refund. Support generally covers photovoltaic panels, solar collectors, heat pumps and biomass boilers in family houses and blocks of flats. The value of the voucher depends on the installed capacity of the equipment and on set rates, with a higher rate usually applying for vulnerable households. An essential condition is that the installation be carried out by an installer listed in the register of eligible installers, and that the equipment be on the list of supported equipment. Check the current rates, round deadlines and scope of support directly in SIEA's current terms and conditions.
