Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization (MIRRI)

MIRRI is the abbreviation for the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic. It plays a central role in European funds – it acts as the central coordinating body and, at the same time, as the managing authority for the Slovakia Programme, which means it oversees the rules, methodology and a significant part of the calls. Alongside this, it is responsible for the informatisation of public administration, the state's digital services, regional development, and the agenda of artificial intelligence and digital skills. For applicants, its website, together with the EU funds portal, is a basic source of methodological documents, guidelines and call schedules. It is also worth following the section with public consultation procedures, in which planned changes appear before they take their final form. The ministry also administers the EU funds portal, on which the calls of all intermediate bodies are published in one place.
