Bundles and sets

Bundles and sets are groupings of several products sold together, usually at a reduced price. They bring three advantages: a higher order value, the chance to sell off items that would otherwise sit unsold in stock, and reduced comparability with competitors, which protects margin. Put them together based on actual use, that is, from products that make sense together, not randomly according to what needs clearing out – customers can tell. The discount must be visible and quantified. Operationally, inventory tracking is key: selling a bundle must deduct the individual items, otherwise discrepancies arise. For seasonal and gift sets, expect that after the season they will have to be broken back down into individual products. In your communication, state how much the customer saves by buying the set compared with the individual items, otherwise the benefit is lost.
