Content syndication is the publishing of the same article on multiple websites, typically on partner portals or in trade media. It brings reach and mentions, but without the correct setup, two problems arise. In search, the republishing website with higher authority may display your text instead of the original, so the traffic ends up going to it. And when sources are being verified, your company gets lost if the text is not clearly attributed. In the agreement, therefore, always request that the original source be credited with a link, ideally also a canonical marking of the original, and the author's name. Also consider publishing with a delay, so that the original has time to be indexed first. If the partner refuses these conditions, provide them with an adapted version of the text instead of an identical copy.
