AI for Teachers is most useful in preparation – creating worksheets, exercises at graded difficulty levels, summaries of subject matter, practice questions and materials adapted for pupils with different needs. Another area is feedback on assignments, which must, however, remain under the teacher's control, since assessing a pupil is a decision that affects their further education. A separate topic is the use of tools by pupils themselves: schools need clear rules on when use is permitted and how it should be declared, rather than a blanket ban that cannot be enforced. When working with pupils' assignments and data, the protection of children's personal data applies, which is stricter than for adults. A useful step is therefore a shared school guideline that unifies the rules across subjects and year groups.
