Brand consistency means that a company presents itself in the same way across all touchpoints – the website, social media, emails, offers, invoices, the shop, and even how employees speak. Losing it is a gradual process: each individual output that deviates slightly seems harmless, but after a year the company looks like five different ones. Several practical things maintain consistency. Accessible and usable materials, meaning templates and logos kept where people need them, not in an archive. Clear rules on tone of communication with examples of what is said and what is not. One responsible person who reviews outputs before publication. And regular checks across channels that catch old logo versions and outdated texts. Consistency increases recognisability for the same budget.
