AMIF is the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, which finances measures in the field of asylum, legal migration, integration of third-country nationals and return policy. Recipients are typically state authorities, non-governmental organisations, local governments, schools and social service providers. It funds, for example, language courses, legal and social counselling, integration centres, support for employing foreign nationals, training for public administration staff, and information activities. For businesses, the fund has indirect significance – its projects give rise to services that help with employing workers from third countries, from language preparation to help with administration. Calls are published separately, outside the main eurofunds portal. Projects pay close attention to the protection of the target group's personal data, since these are particularly vulnerable individuals.
