Supplementing the Application

Supplementing the application is the act by which the applicant, at the provider's request, remedies deficiencies identified during a review – adding a missing attachment, correcting a discrepancy in the data, or clarifying an unclear part. The deadline tends to be short, usually a few working days, and is counted from delivery, which, in the case of an electronic mailbox, occurs even without the message being read. Missing the deadline leads to the proceedings being discontinued regardless of the quality of the project, which is one of the most common reasons for failure. Practical preparation consists of checking the mailbox daily throughout the proceedings, having documents ready that are commonly requested as supplements, and knowing who can issue them quickly. The response should address exactly what the provider asked about, not attach additional materials on top.
