Prompt writing is the skill of formulating a request so that the model produces a usable output. The difference between an average and a good result lies not in the tool, but in what a person feeds it. A usable prompt contains the context of the situation, the goal, the target audience, the required format and length, possibly a sample example of the output, and information about what should not appear in the output. Working in steps is equally important – the first output is refined with a further instruction instead of starting over. In a corporate setting, the skill pays off the most when proven prompts are written down and shared, so that each employee does not have to discover them separately. It is a skill learned through practice, not by memorising rules.
