Promotional and awareness project

A promotional and awareness project is a project whose aim is to change the awareness, attitudes, or behaviour of a target group – for example in the area of health, safety, the environment, finance, or social topics. It can be part of a larger project or a standalone call. Its weak point is demonstrability, since the output is not a tangible thing. Emphasis is therefore placed on measurable indicators: the number of people reached, the number of events and materials produced, reach across individual channels, and, in higher-quality projects, also the measured change in attitudes assessed before and after. Documentation consists of photographic records, attendance sheets, printed materials, media outputs, and analytical reports. Handle the project's publicity thoroughly, as it tends to be a frequent subject of checks. Design the materials so that they survive beyond the end of the project and can continue to be used, otherwise all that remains of the campaign is the photographic record.
