Question-based headings

Question-based headings are subheadings phrased as a question the user genuinely asks. Their benefit is that they match the shape of queries in conversational search directly, while also clearly defining what I will find in the following section. This turns the section into a passage that can be used on its own. It does not work universally, though. For overview and technical sections, a precise label is clearer than an artificially inverted question, and an article made up of fifteen questions feels fragmented. The proven combination is to use questions where the topic genuinely raises doubt or a decision, and labels where it is a matter of a list or a description. Phrase questions the way customers ask them, not the way they sound to an expert.
