Posting frequency

Posting frequency is the number of posts per period. There is no universal recommendation, and the figures in circulation are mostly borrowed from industries with different dynamics. Three considerations are essential. The first is capacity – a pace you cannot sustain for six months is pointless, because a burst of activity followed by silence performs worse than regularity. The second is the size and nature of the audience: with a small audience, a higher number of posts mainly shows up as fatigue. The third is the ratio to performance, which you should measure yourself – if doubling the number of posts halved the reach per post, all you gained was more work. Start with a pace you can definitely keep up, and increase it only once quality stays the same.
