The employment contribution from the Labour Office is a form of support provided under active labour market measures. For small companies and sole traders it tends to be the most accessible support of all, since it does not require project documentation on the scale of an EU funds call and is arranged directly at the relevant office. The types change, but on a long-term basis they include contributions for creating a job for a disadvantaged jobseeker, support for an unemployed person starting a business, contributions for on-the-job training, mentored on-the-job training, and for maintaining a job. They have three things in common: an agreement concluded before the employee starts, a commitment to maintain the job for a set period, and an obligation to repay the contribution in case of early termination. Check the current conditions and amounts directly at the office, as they change on an ongoing basis.
