A price comparison website is a platform that ranks offers from multiple e-shops for the same product, usually by price. For an e-shop, this is a channel with high purchase intent but also with hard pressure on margin, since the customer sees dozens of competitors side by side. However, the decision is not determined by price alone: the shop's rating, stated availability, delivery time and shipping cost also carry weight, and the latter can turn a cheap offer upside down. The basis for success is correct product matching, so that your item is assigned to the right listing, and honest availability, since unfulfilled promises are reflected in ratings. Evaluate the channel at the level of individual products, not as a whole – for part of the range with a low margin it tends to run at a loss, while for another part it is the most profitable source of orders.
