ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) is the ratio of revenue generated by an ad to the total amount invested in that ad, typically expressed as a percentage or a simple ratio, such as 5:1. It is one of the most important metrics for measuring the profitability of paid campaigns, since—unlike the number of conversions alone—it directly shows whether the investment in advertising is financially worthwhile for the company.
